The smash cake is a studio mini-session for the first birthday. The child is photographed exploring their first cake, often making a charming mess — and that is precisely the point.
We design the set to measure, choosing a coordinated palette and styling. The cake is made by a trusted patisserie with ingredients suited to the first birthday (low sugar, no honey).
The session lasts about an hour and is preceded by a short, more composed portrait phase, before the child gets messy. For parents who would like it, we keep towels, a small tub and everything needed for a quick change at the end.

What age is the smash cake session for?
Around the first birthday, ideally between 11 and 13 months, when the child sits independently and is curious to explore.
Is the cake safe for the child?
Yes. We work with a trusted patisserie using ingredients suited to the first birthday: no honey, low sugar, and variants available for allergies or intolerances.
Can we also do a small family portrait?
Of course. With the complete package we add half an hour of portraits with the parents before the child meets the cake.
What if my child cries?
It happens often. We allow time for breaks and cuddles and start again when they feel at ease. There is no rush.
